I am two months away from my Bali trip, and since this is the first time that I’m going to travel out-of-the-country with friends, I am doing a lot of preparations for it- again I’m preparing my body (for pictures), mind (for adventures!) and my wallet to cover my ass and expenses.
To prepare my body, I’ve made changes to my workout routine and my diet, which you will see in another blog post. But, generally I’ve been eating a lot of colorful foods which include green leafy vegetables such as rommaine lettuce and avocados, purple-y grapes, reddish apples plus other colors. You know what I mean. So it’s a diet that many would indeed consider healthy. Far from it, I think most are privy to how this kind of diet could affect the overall state of your skin, health and well-being. So it shouldn’t be a surprise if one day you woke up with a very fine and glowing skin. That’s what happened to me.
I woke up one morning, or not. It was an afternoon, I think, when I woke up from a nap and it just hit me when I looked in the mirror that I have a somewhat poreless, toned and glowing skin. It came as a shock for me because lately I’ve been a bit lazy about putting things of my face due to exhaustion, and I just want to go to bed peacefully without thinking of wasting the products in my face if I overturn later on that night.
I’ve been planning to do this diet only until my Bali trip but I’m thinking of reconsidering that timespan because of the good change that I’ve seen not only in my skin, my energy and my overall well-being. It’s something that is so crucial for you to have a better and happier life. I still have my bouts of carb-on-carb binging especially during the weekends, but what’s that compared to healthier eating for the long haul, right?
Until you read from me again. Follow this blog for new post updates!
