TOCOBO Skincare Trio Review: Everyday Simplicity, Elevated
TOCOBO has become a quiet standout in the K-Beauty space for its minimalist vegan formulas that work well and feel even better. I tested three of their essentials which includes the Calamine Pore Control Cleansing Oil, Bio Watery Sun Cream, and Cotton Soft Sun Stick and together they offer a streamlined, no-fuss routine that covers cleansing, sun protection, and touch-ups throughout the day.

Calamine Pore Control Cleansing Oil
This cleansing oil claims to melt away dirt, grime and sunscreen while calming the skin with calamine, and it lives up to that promise with a surprisingly balanced formula. The pale pink color gives a calming visual cue and the scent is lightly medicinal but clean. It spreads easily without being overly runny, and once water is added, it emulsifies into a silky milk that rinses off without leaving a greasy residue.
Grime, sweat, dirt and SPF lift quickly without effort, and my skin felt smoother and less congested after a week of use at night. The oil is effective at deep cleaning, but if you have sensitive eyes or lash extensions, you may want to use it only on the face to avoid potential stinging.

Bio Watery Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++
The Bio Watery Sun Cream promises high UV protection with a dewy, hydrating finish and delivers exactly that. The gel-cream texture feels cool on the skin and disappears within seconds, leaving no white cast or heaviness. It layers well under makeup and doesn’t pill or slide throughout the day.
The hydration boost is noticeable, especially in the morning, but it might be too much for those with very oily skin unless paired with a mattifying primer. I found it ideal for everyday indoor-to-outdoor transitions, though I would reapply more frequently during high-exposure days. The scent is subtle, clean, and fades quickly, making it suitable even for scent-sensitive users.

Cotton Soft Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++
This compact sun stick aims to mattify, blur, and protect the skin and it does all three in a format that fits right into your pocket or gym bag. The texture feels like velvet, applying with zero drag or greasiness, and the pale beige tint goes on invisible.
What stands out most is how it instantly reduces shine without disturbing your base, making it great for reapplication throughout the day. I used it over the T-zone and noticed a smoother, softer finish almost immediately. While it isn’t as hydrating as the Bio Watery version, it’s a solid choice for oil-prone areas or humid days. Just avoid layering too many passes, as it can feel slightly waxy if over-applied.
